This foundation roll is made of a flexible nylon mesh and is 5.5" long and 1" wide.
It could be shortened by tucking the ends in.
It comes with 2 hair clips to secure it in place.
The illustrated instructions state 
"Comb part of front hair over face like bangs. Attach roll on front of head then bring loose hair over roll and comb back naturally as illustrated..
Some of the cards are a bit foxed or have the odd mark - so these are cheaper - see last 2 photos.
