Original Unused 1930s curlers.
They are 6" long, made of a very bendy  metal and covered in a soft woven medium brown fabric.
On the box it claims
The "Ladye Jayne" Curler is the most effective on the market and produces natural waves or curls. It is so pliable that it cannot injure the Hair or Scalp"

The instructions, on the other side of the box are 
"The hair should be placed in the centre between the Bars of the curler and rolled up close to the head; then bend both ends of the curler over and leave in for a convenient time"
